Recognizing the COVID Times
It’s difficult to find the words to talk about how dramatically life has changed within the past year. What began as a journey in December 2019 to scale Ayoka Candles from my garage operation to a fully-scaled manufacturing operation slowly crashed and exploded into a pandemic nightmare unlike anything we’ve seen or experienced as a people and generation around the globe.
We send our well-wishes to family, friends and loved ones of those who lost their lives as a result of the COVID-19 virus. To our healthcare family, doctors, nurses, emergency and medical staff on the frontlines, we send our thoughts and prayers to all of you and your loved ones and thank you for your continued dedication and service to humanity . We are in this together and hope we can all continue to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
With many states instituting the re-opening of businesses with limited hours in efforts to flatten the COVID infection curve, our manufacturing facilities in California and Maryland have also taken precautions to protect staff and customers while retaining the quality and integrity of our products. While uncertainty rules our world today, please know that we are taking the necessary steps to ensure all of our team members are, and continue to stay safe.
New Branding & New Products
Over the past year, we took some time and invested energy into rethinking our brand which resulted in the realization that Ayoka is much more than just candles. Hence, the new name- Ayoka Essentials. We stepped into the lab, concocted a few new additions, and designed a new look, all with our customers in mind and we can’t wait to share them with you.
Finally, we know there’s a lot of information and options for your daily purchases and we know that home essentials are nowhere near the top of any readiness and safety checklist. With our homes becoming our offices, schools, playgrounds and so much more during these unprecedented times, we want you to know that Ayoka Essentials is here for you! We remain steadfast in our approach to help you bring luxury and warmth to your home with our eco-friendly, long-lasting, and safe products.
