The meaning of Juneteenth is never lost on me as a black business owner and a black woman. With the House of Congress recently voting to approve legislation to commemorate June 19 as Juneteenth National Independence Day, a US federal holiday, honoring the men and women who gave their lives to afford us these opportunities remains top of mind. This overwhelming sense of gratitude is why Ayoka exists and why we will continue to strive to deliver the level of quality representative of those heroes.
